Gravelfest 2025 - A cycling festival built on grit, community and good design

GravelFest 2025 is a Surrey-based gravel cycling festival created by G!RO, bringing riders together to celebrate off-road riding, community and shared experience over competition.

Yarrh Studio partnered with G!RO to develop the visual identity for the festival and support its rollout across physical touchpoints, creating a bold, distinctive brand that felt at home on bikes, clothing and signage.

Huge credit to Jordan for being an absolute joy to work with, collaborative, open to ideas and fully committed to making GravelFest something special.

  • GravelFest needed a visual identity that felt rugged, welcoming and rooted in place. The brand had to work hard across multiple formats, from digital promotion to real-world use on apparel and signage, while capturing the spirit of gravel riding and the Surrey Hills landscape.

It needed to feel like a proper event, not just a logo on a poster.

  • Yarrh Studio developed a badge-style logo inspired by classic outdoor and cycling iconography, designed to feel timeless, practical and instantly recognisable.

The identity was built with versatility in mind, working just as well on a t-shirt or cycling cap as it does on signage and wayfinding. Colour, texture and illustration were used to give the brand warmth and character, without losing clarity or legibility in outdoor conditions.

  • The project included the full GravelFest logo and visual identity, alongside supporting designs for event signage and merchandise.

Merchandise designs were created with wearability in mind, pieces riders would actually want to keep using beyond the event itself. Signage and graphics were kept clear and functional, helping guide riders while reinforcing the festival’s visual presence.

  • GravelFest 2025 launched with a strong, cohesive visual identity that reflected the energy of the event and the community behind it.

The brand helped establish GravelFest as a recognisable fixture within the local gravel scene, giving G!RO a flexible foundation to build on for future events and editions.
