Geoff - A friendly financial assistant built to help people save

Geoff is a digital savings assistant designed to help people better understand their money, build healthier habits and feel more confident about their finances, without judgement or jargon.

Yarrh Studio partnered with the Geoff team to shape the brand, visual identity and digital presence, creating a character-led system that feels approachable, trustworthy and genuinely useful.

  • Most personal finance tools feel cold, generic or overwhelming. Geoff set out to do the opposite, creating a product that feels supportive, human and genuinely personal.

    The challenge was to design a brand and digital presence that could balance approachability with trust, while supporting a long-term product vision that adapts to different users, needs and financial goals.

  • The core idea behind Geoff was simple:

    a financial assistant that feels like it’s built just for you.

    Yarrh Studio developed the concept of Geoff as a character-led assistant, one that could evolve through personality, tone, and visual expression. This included playful details such as interchangeable hats, hairstyles and subtle visual cues, paired with a warm, witty tone of voice tailored to guide users through their finances.

    The goal was to reduce anxiety, encourage engagement, and make money feel less daunting.

  • Yarrh Studio led the full branding and digital design for Geoff.

    This included the brand identity, logo, colour system, typography and comprehensive brand guidelines, ensuring the product could scale consistently across marketing and product touchpoints.

    Alongside the brand work, Yarrh Studio designed the website to clearly explain Geoff’s value in a simple, friendly way, and supported the app’s UI/UX — helping translate the brand into a usable, intuitive product experience.
